About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to kickstart their culinary career as an Apprentice Chef in a supportive, professional kitchen. While commercial kitchen experience is a bonus, enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key. As part of this full‑time apprenticeship, you will train in:
* Basic culinary and knife skills.
* Knowledge of ingredients, with a focus on Levantine flavours.
* Use of commercial equipment and kitchen procedures.
Main Duties
* Assisting the chef in meal preparation and cooking.
* Learning kitchen procedures and duties under supervision.
* Serving food when required.
* Maintaining kitchen cleaning and sanitation standards.
* Assisting in other areas of food preparation and storage.
What We're Looking For
* Have a passion for the food industry and Levantine cuisine.
* Be punctual, reliable, and flexible to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Present themselves professionally.
* Be career‑driven and a collaborative team player.
* To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold full working rights.
