Electrical Technical Advisor Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technical Advisor to join our team.
This role involves providing specialist electrical consultancy services in operations maintenance and construction of electrical HV/LV Systems instrumentation communications and SCADA assets.
* This position combines desk work and field work across the Great Southern Region (GSR) Operations Engineering Team.
* Travel Allowance and Overtime when required.
* A Work Vehicle is provided for work purposes.
* Annual leave loading of 17.5%.
* An option to work on a 9-day fortnight roster (RDO every fortnight).
* After 3 years of continuous service, you may access your Long Service leave pro-rata.
* You'll be responsible for enhancing the reliability of our physical assets.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using analytical skills to understand failures and underperformance.
* Evaluate and improve our electrical and instrumentation maintenance practices.
* Lead maintenance projects like battery replacements and high-voltage work across the region.
* Assist with electrical project implementation ensuring specifications and contractual obligations are met.
* Investigate and anticipate significant asset failures applying risk assessment and root cause analysis.
