About the Role As the Commercial Site Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day onsite coordination of this significant commercial project.
The development includes a large-format, resort-style Country Club precinct that brings together wellness, dining, recreation, and premium community spaces - all delivered across two expansive, meticulously designed buildings.Reporting to the Site Manager Commercial, you'll oversee site operations, subcontractors, safety, scheduling, and quality to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in complex commercial environments and can maintain momentum across multiple work fronts.You will manage:Daily supervision of trades, labourers, and subcontractorsOnsite safety, inductions, and WHS complianceConstruction progress, sequencing, and workflowCoordination with Project Managers and contract administratorsQuality assurance, inspections, and defect managementSite logistics, materials, deliveries, and equipmentMaintaining site presentation and ensuring adherence to GemLife standardsYour focus: keeping the project moving safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.
What You'll Need Trade qualification (carpentry or similar preferred)QBCC Site Supervisor or Builder License (Commercial) - essentialProven experience supervising commercial construction projectsStrong leadership and communication skillsExcellent planning, sequencing, and problem solving abilitiesSolid WHS knowledge and commitment to safe work practicesCompetence using construction management softwareA proactive, hands on approach and the ability to work autonomouslyValid driver's license Why Join GemLife?
