Healthcare Support Role
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work under the direction of physiotherapists/occupational therapists to deliver clinical services to clients in Residential Aged Care settings. Your time will consist of both clinical and administrative duties.
You will be involved in delivering innovative allied health services using evidence-based therapy programs tailored to residents' goals and priorities.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality care services according to established procedures and policies.
* Assist with servicing RAC clients as per Allied Health Professionals treatment plans.
* Transporting residents to and from therapy areas/appointments under physiotherapist direction.
* Maintain a clean and organized physiotherapy gym, including equipment maintenance.
* Manage referrals, perform administrative tasks, and order prescribed equipment guided by physiotherapists.
* Develop and lead exercise groups/programs promoting physical activity and well-being.
* Contribute to initiatives meeting client expectations and contract requirements.
* Collaborate with physiotherapists on adaptations, changes, and progressions of treatment plans.
* Participate in mentoring, supervision, and appraisals aligning with our organization's policy and procedure.
