PHYSIOTHERAPIST - PORT AUGUSTA & PORT PIRIE, SA
This isn't a steppingstone role. It's a chance to put roots down, sharpen your clinical skills, and be recognised for the work you do. If you're worn down by packed diaries, long commutes, and feeling like just another number in a metro clinic, this offers a genuine alternative. Port Augusta and Port Pirie are looking for physiotherapists who want autonomy, variety, and the space to practise properly, not short-term cover, but clinicians who want to contribute and stay.
What your week actually looks like
You won't be stuck in one lane. The caseload is broad, hands on, and genuinely varied, including musculoskeletal work, chronic disease management, DVA, NDIS, Medicare, WorkCover, and private clients. You'll see people consistently, follow their progress over time, and be involved in their outcomes rather than just one off appointments. The role spans both treatment rooms and gym based rehabilitation, with enough time and flexibility to do the job properly. You'll work closely with EPs, dietitians, podiatrists, GPs, and other allied health clinicians who know you personally and value your input. Your work is visible, and what you do makes a difference.
Who this would suit
This role works best for physiotherapists who:
* want clinical variety, not repetition
* are comfortable making decisions and backing their judgement
* value mentoring but don't want micromanagement
* are open to regional life and the opportunities that come with it
* want faster development than metro roles allow
New graduates will be supported properly.
Experienced clinicians will be trusted and given room to lead.

* Clear pathways into senior and leadership roles

Why people come here and stay ;
This is regional South Australia without isolation. You'll finish work and actually have time — for training, family, getting outdoors, or simply switching off. Commutes are short, housing is affordable, and the community is genuinely welcoming. Weekends mean the Flinders Ranges on your doorstep, easy access to the coast, fishing, open roads, and big skies. It's a slower pace that creates space for life again. Many clinicians arrive thinking they'll stay for a year; a lot of them don't leave.
THE BOTTOM LINE
If you want to grow faster, be trusted sooner, and live better while doing meaningful clinical work, this role is worth a serious look.
