Our uniquely flexible and purpose build facilities utilise the latest blending, granulating and packaging technologies, allowing us to maintain the fastest project completion times in the industry.Job DescriptionAbout this opportunityMultiple positions available at Various locations Ashroad (Prestons), Smithfield & Horsley Park.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor, the individual is responsible for fault finding and proactively repairing site and production machinery as well as preventative maintenance, which enables the site and production team to run efficiently and produce high quality products.As well as the above, the individual will also be responsible for production machine/product change overs when required.Your key responsibilities will be to:Production line set up and Product change oversUndertake proactive maintenance & servicing while minimising production down timeDeciding on the most efficient and effective approach to problem solving and proactive maintenance initiativesFault findingAttend & rectify production line issues in a timely mannerRepair/replacement of production machinery partsAssist in the daily operations of site services (Compressor, Chillers)Complete preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedulingConstant review of production lines to ensure optimal output.Strict compliance with all Jalco/Pact systems, standards, policies and proceduresImplement site safety proceduresRecording required maintenance related documentation.Training:Be willing to undertake any training that is deemed relevant to the positionAttend and complete all training as requiredAttending workshops and training sessions.Provide training to others as appropriate.Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:Previous line manufacturing maintenance experience preferredWorking/functional knowledge of MEXsystemWorking knowledge of MS Office suite/computer skillsCollaborative, transparent and enabling approach.Ability to work as part of teamAbility to work under pressure in a high paced environmentAbility to work under limited supervision and independentlyAbility to plan, prioritize and sequence work operations to complete tasks in a timely mannerAbility to take direction from other staffWelding experience an advantagePrevious experience with Tube sealing, Sachet filling/sealing and bottle labelling an advantageQualificationsMinimum 3 years’ experience in a similar rolePreferred - Manufacturing background (fast moving consumable goods)Fitter & Turner or Fitter/Machinist QualificationAdditional InformationAbout usOur vision is to lead the circular economy through packaging, reuse and recycling solutions.
