20/10 FIFO (4 paid travel days) | 12-Month Contract | Flights & AccommodationTP Human Capital is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Coordinator for a major international mining project in the Philippines.
This high-profile role involves mentoring and supervising local mechanical teams while overseeing crusher refurbishment and fixed plant shutdown works. Candidates must have hands-on experience with crusher rebuilds, conveyors, pumps, and associated fixed plant equipment. You will work back-to-back on critical shutdowns, supporting multiple contractors and ensuring safe, efficient delivery.
About the Opportunity
* Roster: 20 days on / 10 days off, including 4 travel days (2 each side of swing). 8 hours paid per travel day.
* 12-hour shifts per day
* Flights provided from Australia
* Private accommodation with ensuite, gym, laundry (dry camp)
* 12-month contract through TP Human Capital
* Visa arrangements managed by the client

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Shutdown / Maintenance Superintendent, you will:
* Mentor and supervise local mechanical teams, ensuring compliance with HSE policies.
* Coordinate and oversee crusher refurbishment and fixed plant shutdown works to scope, schedule, and budget.
* Promote safety awareness, conduct field safety interactions, and implement the 12 Lifesaving Commitments at prestart.
* Oversee strip-down, rebuild, alignment, and commissioning of crushers and associated equipment.
* Liaise with contractors, operations, and stakeholders to minimize downtime and support capital works delivery.
* Maintain daily records of progress, incidents, milestones, and site activities, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
What We're Looking For
* Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Trade (Certificate III or equivalent) – mandatory
* Project Management qualification (Diploma, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) – mandatory
* Proven experience supervising mechanical construction, shutdowns, or crusher refurbishment in mining, resources, or industrial projects
* Underground mining experience – mandatory
* Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work internationally (Philippines-based rotation)
* Current Australian passport
* Ability to meet pre-employment medical, drug, and background checks
* Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance
Highly regarded
* Hands-on experience commissioning and start-up of rebuilt equipment
* Experience in gold or copper processing operations
* Reliability, defect elimination, or continuous improvement experience
