ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Cadet, you'll rotate across multiple departments at both the Kuitpo Sawmill and Monarto Dry Mill, gaining broad experience in timber processing, manufacturing operations, and safety-focused production environments.
This is a 24-month cadetship leading to a Certificate III in Timber & Wood Products Operations (FWP30322).

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Kuitpo Forest – Sawmill Operations
* Grade timber to quality and industry standards
* Operate sawmill machinery including trim saws, debarkers, stackers, edgers, twin and quad saws
* Work closely with maintenance teams and saw doctors
* Follow strict safety, quality, and operational procedures
Monarto – Dry Mill Operations
* Grade, stack, and mould timber products
* Assist with timber treatment, kiln operations, and drying processes
* Support the internal sales and production teams
* Work alongside maintenance crews to support plant operations
* Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
