About the Role
We are seeking experienced, motivated, and passionate Trainers & Assessors to join our growing team delivering quality training across the Construction, Resources and Infrastructure sectors.
We have opportunities for both generalist Construction Trainers and High-Risk Work Assessors (LF & WP) who take pride in delivering meaningful, compliant, and engaging learning experiences.
You'll work across a mix of metro and regional WA, delivering accredited training that genuinely helps participants build confidence, skills, and future career pathways.
What You'll Do
* Deliver and assess a range of accredited short courses, including:
* Working Safely at Heights, Confined Spaces, Gas Testing Atmospheres, and White Card (CPCWHS1001)
* Deliver Certificate II level programs in Civil Construction and related streams.
* Maintain industry compliance and quality standards in all training and assessment practices.
* Keep up to date with industry trends, safety standards, and legislative changes.
* Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and adapt your approach to meet learners' LLND needs.
About You
You are an energetic, industry-current professional who brings both technical skill and a passion for helping people succeed. You're flexible, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
You'll need to have:
* TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent – essential)
* Demonstrated experience delivering accredited training in construction, mining, or high-risk operations
* Current competency in the following units (or willingness to obtain):
* RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined spaces
* MSMWHS217 Gas test atmospheres
* RIIWHS204E Work safely at heights
* CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work in the construction industry
* CPPFES2005 Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment
* CPCCCM2008 Erect and dismantle restricted height scaffolding
* RIIHAN301E Operate elevating work platform
* (Desirable) RII20720 Certificate II in Civil Construction or equivalent field experience
* HRWL Accredited Assessor (WA) for LF and WP classes (essential for High-Risk role)
* Strong ability to adapt delivery to suit diverse learning needs (LLND awareness)
* National Police Clearance, valid Australian work rights, and ability to pass a pre-employment medical
