A project engineering role is open for an entry-level candidate to assist in coordinating and managing onsite activities.
Main Responsibilities
* Support senior project managers and site managers in planning and executing onsite activities according to quality standards.
* Oversee the inspection and test plan, conduct inspections, and address non-conformances.
* Maintain document control systems for the project.
* Identify and resolve technical and quality issues onsite.
* Assist construction teams in meeting schedules while maintaining safety and preventing incidents.
* Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records according to organizational requirements.
Additional Duties
* Familiarize yourself with contract documentation, drawings, and specifications.
* Evaluate compliance with the project quality plan and manage quality inspections.
* Perform verification tasks outlined in the project quality management plan and reject defective work.
Safety and Environmental Obligations
* Ensure adherence to health and safety legislation and regulations.
* Develop and implement project-specific safety procedures.
* Promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
* Review safety audits and initiate corrective actions as needed.
* Implement measures to prevent erosion and sediment on site.
* Investigate environmental hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
