The Role
This full-time, office-based position is located in Avalon. As a Management Accountant, you will support our Finance Lead with financial and reporting responsibilities.
Your Impact
You will play a key role in providing financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
Your Daily Responsibilities
* Prepare end-of-month journals, accruals, prepayments, and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
* Assist with business performance tracking, dashboarding, and KPI analysis.
* Manage cash flow, debtor & creditor control, and business cash flow reporting.
* Prepare monthly management reports, including financial board reports and business unit reporting.
* Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
* Manage leases and maintain plant & equipment registers.
* Support the head office finance team with queries and requests (FBT, FAR, FTC, etc.).
Candidate Profile
* Tertiary degree in accounting, business, or similar.
* Completion or nearing completion of CA or CPA qualification.
* Experience as a business partner or management accountant.
* Experience working with operations teams and non-financial stakeholders.
* Experience in construction-related industries such as resources, manufacturing, or logistics.
* Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in IT.
* Attention to detail, good time management, and organizational skills.
