Job Overview
This role plays a vital part in delivering an exceptional guest experience at our hotel. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and have a significant impact on their stay with us.
Key Responsibilities
* Process guest arrivals and departures, room assignments, and room change requests
* Secure payment, activate/reissue room keys, and resolve guest calls
* Anticipate guests' service needs and act on them whenever possible
* Maintain customer loyalty through innovative issue resolution and attention to detail
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with guests
* Process room service orders, answer questions on menu selection, record transactions, process payment, and run reports
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years customer service experience in a similar role
* Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
* Thorough follow-up, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Ability to emotionally connect with guests and provide superior levels of service
* Conflict resolution experience
* Flexibility to work on a 24-hour rotating roster, including public holidays and weekends
* Experience with property management systems (advantageous)
