A challenging position is available for a triple driver to operate on the Cairns to Bamaga run. This demanding transport operation requires handling tough conditions and remote operations.
The route involves traveling through rough terrain, including corrugations and bulldust, in older trucks and trailers that are well-maintained but may not be equipped with modern amenities.
* Responsibilities:
* Get freight through undamaged and gear in one piece – time is irrelevant.
* Drive according to road conditions – sections of the road may take 7 hours to travel 10 kilometers.
