Welcome to Melbourne North Truck Centre, the latest addition to the extremely successful Hallam and Bayswater Truck Centres.
As a full-service Kenworth and DAF Truck dealership, we offer new truck sales, parts, and mechanical servicing, proudly serving the North of Melbourne, including Ballarat territory.
Currently operating from our interim location on Hume Highway in Somerton, we are eagerly anticipating the completion of our state-of-the-art dealership in **** in Mickleham, which is set to revolutionise the truck sales and service customer experience in Melbourne.
About the role
Our Melbourne North Truck Centre site stocks reliable and quality parts for all makes of trucks and trailers.
We are seeking a Parts Store person to fill a full-time position based newly established Melbourne North Truck Centre.
In this role you will assist in the receiving, picking and dispatching of parts.
You will have excellent organisational skills, a good eye for detail and exceptional customer service skills that will ensure customers receive their orders in a timely manner.
Duties & Responsibilities
Unpacking of stock and allocating correctly in warehouse
Picking & packing customers' orders ready for dispatch
Participating in cyclic stocktakes
Loading/unloading of delivery vehicles as required
Maintaining the receiving and dispatch area
Deliver & pick up automotive parts for customers and suppliers
To be considered for this role
Previous experience in automotive spare parts interpreting and or warehousing preferred but not essential
Forklift licence required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Good level of computer literacy and ability
A good mechanical aptitude with precision attention to detail
Able to work Saturday mornings on a rotating roster and an ability to pitch in with some overtime that may be required from time to time
