About The Team
Members of the ANZ Solution Consulting team communicate and demonstrate the power of Workday's applications to prospects and customers. This team brings Workday solutions to life, connects with sales and collaborates with Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management teams.
About The Role
Financials Solution Consultant for the ANZ team. Your responsibilities include:
* Conducting pre‐sales discovery meetings.
* Leveraging deep financial accounting expertise.
* Delivering executive presentations and product demonstrations.
* Partnering with the sales team throughout the sales cycle.
* Working in a highly complex environment that requires curiosity, flexibility, and drive.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience across finance and accounting domains, including GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Multi‐Company and Consolidations, Multi‐Currency.
* 5+ years of functional, implementation, consulting, or presales experience with Financial Management or ERP solutions.
* Strong understanding of additional Finance‐related functions such as Procurement and Project Costing.
* Proven experience engaging with enterprise finance stakeholders including Controllers, CFOs, and Finance Transformation leaders.
* Experience with Financial Management solutions from Workday, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, or similar.
* Experience engaging with enterprises in Australia and New Zealand across industries such as FSI, Higher Education, Healthcare, Government, Public Services, Retail, and Professional Services.
Other Qualifications & Profile
* Credible, dynamic finance transformation expert ready to help organizations sell and operate the future of finance.
* Outstanding presenter with strong communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging CFOs, Finance VPs, Controllers, and senior IT leaders.
* Extensive experience in finance and ERP technology with deep knowledge of Financial Management, ERP, EPM, and analytics platforms.
* Strong passion for AI, machine learning, automation, and agentic AI, with a clear point of view on how these technologies transform finance processes and decision‐making.
* Genuinely excited about Workday Financial Management and motivated to represent Workday's next‐generation AI‐powered finance capabilities.
* Deep understanding of the finance operating model, able to speak fluently with the Office of the CFO about governance, controls, efficiency, agility, and business outcomes.
* Proven ability to map customer‐specific finance challenges directly to technology and AI‐driven solutions, articulating value in terms of faster close, improved visibility, stronger compliance, and reduced manual effort.
