Credit Analyst (with Ops or Broker Growth Path)

We’re looking for a smart, switched-on Credit Analyst ready to step into a hands-on role and grow into something bigger. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love unpacking detail, and want a clear path to operations leadership—this could be it.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll become the founder’s right hand—taking ownership of credit responsibilities so he can focus on high-impact growth activities. You’ll also collaborate closely with existing team members to improve delivery, speed, and structure.
- Review, reconcile, and interpret client documents, especially for self-employed borrowers
- Build cashflows and group structures from financials, trust deeds, and company searches
- Liaise with lenders, present discussion papers, and summarise policy-driven recommendations
- Write clear, compliant client documents and deliver supporting application forms
- Manage lender submissions from pre-approval to settlement
- Communicate with clients throughout the loan process
- Take ownership of inbox and operational workflows within your first month
- Contribute to refining end-to-end processes for both complex and PAYG clients
About you

Must-haves:
- Proven experience in credit analysis within a mortgage or finance broking environment
- Strong grasp of lending calculations, policy interpretation, and compliance
- Skilled with mortgage CRMs and aggregator platforms
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication
- Ready to step into a growth journey, not just fill a seat
Nice-to-haves:
- Exposure to multi-lender strategies or commercial/self-employed lending
- Understanding of group structures and entity roles
- Availability during end-of-year trading period (or flexibility around extended leave)
