Chaplain - Student Support Role
This is an exciting opportunity to support the spiritual and emotional well-being of students. As a Chaplain, you will play a vital role in promoting student wellbeing and resilience.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide pastoral care and support to students, staff, and parents through regular meetings, counseling sessions, and outreach programs
* Develop and implement engaging programs to promote student wellbeing, including workshops, events, and initiatives that foster a positive school culture
* Collaborate with teachers and other school leaders to integrate chaplaincy services into the curriculum, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment
* Facilitate regular worship and prayer sessions for students, providing a safe and inclusive space for reflection and growth
Essential Requirements:
* Degree in Theology or related field, such as Divinity or Ministry
* Experience working with young people in a chaplaincy or pastoral role, with a proven track record of building strong relationships and delivering effective programs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of the school community
