About the Role
* Provide visionary, strategic leadership to unite and inspire a world-class Faculty of Science and Engineering team.
* Foster interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaborations to enhance research impact and relevance.
* Drive improvements in research performance and funding opportunities across key priority areas.
* Lead initiatives to enrich learning and teaching quality, ensuring graduates are equipped to thrive in a dynamic global economy.
* Build and nurture strategic partnerships with industry, government, and other institutions.
* Work collaboratively within the University's Executive Group to implement University-wide strategies and goals.
Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor and as a member of the University Executive Group, the Executive Dean will guide strategic direction, operational excellence, and cultural development across the Faculty, which includes six schools and research departments and contributes to Macquarie's sustainability mission.
