Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for an Executive Assistant Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
About the Role This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially minded, guest-focused Executive Assistant Manager to play a pivotal role in the success of Sails in the Desert, our flagship luxury hotel within Ayers Rock Resort.
Reporting directly to the General Manager – Zone 1, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across Rooms Division and Food & Beverage, ensuring excellence in service delivery, strong financial performance, engaged teams, and unforgettable guest experiences. This role is hands-on, visible, and influential—ideal for a leader who thrives in complex, high-volume luxury environments.
About the Resort Sails in the Desert sits at the heart of Ayers Rock Resort and delivers premium accommodation, world-class dining, and iconic outdoor experiences.
The property includes:
* Signature dining and immersive experiences such as Sounds of Silence, Tali Wiru, Field of Light, and Wintjiri Wiru
* 13 Food & Beverage outlets and activations, including fine dining, casual venues, bars, conferences and events
* A large-scale Rooms Division operation, where seamless arrivals, pristine accommodation, and exceptional guest service are non-negotiable
As AGM, you will ensure every touchpoint—from arrival to departure—reflects five-star standards and delivers genuine "wow" moments.
Who We're Seeking
We're searching for an dynamic, visionary, and customer-obsessed hospitality leader with a strong operational backbone and a calm, confident leadership style.
You'll bring:
* Proven senior leadership experience in luxury hotels or five-star resorts
* Strong operational knowledge across Rooms Division (Front Office, Housekeeping, Reservations, Guest Services)
* Demonstrated leadership within Food & Beverage, including multi-outlet operations
* Commercial acumen with experience managing labor, budgets, cost control and performance metrics
* The ability to lead large, diverse teams with positivity, resilience and clarity
* A genuine commitment to people development, coaching and mentoring
Experience working in a remote or regional environment and a strong alignment with Indigenous employment and community engagement initiatives will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day Zone 1 operations alongside the General Manager, ensuring consistency, quality and compliance
* Drive service excellence across all Rooms Division and Food & Beverage operations
* Champion guest experience, personally managing VIP arrivals, departures and complex guest concerns
* Partner with department heads to optimise performance, engagement and profitability
* Support Indigenous training, employment and development initiatives in line with Voyages' values
* Ensure strong governance, safety, SOP compliance and asset protection across the property
* Act as the senior leader on-site in the General Manager's absence
