Apprentice Chef

Position Summary:
* Assist with the preparation and cooking of food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, focusing on attention to detail.
* Follow a food preparation checklist and establish priority items.
* Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
* Develop strong food safety and cleaning skills to ensure assigned kitchen section is properly maintained.
* Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives and equipment.
* Be the connecter and facilitator of collective power and assist the kitchen team in operational tasks and duties.
* Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a way that aims to exceed guest expectations.
About You:
* Trade Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification.
* Passion for the industry.
Relevant experience in a similar role:
