About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Bendigo.
The role involves performing planned and reactive maintenance on various water and wastewater infrastructure to ensure assets are performing to high standards.
* Perform maintenance tasks on Wastewater, Water assets
* Work within treatment plants in both Water and Sewer spaces.
* Undertake and participate in job and plant hazard identification and incident notifications
* Attend and actively participate in team and toolbox meetings
This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical maintenance of pumping systems, pipework, and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance Tasks: Perform routine maintenance on Wastewater and Water assets, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
* Treatment Plant Operations: Work within treatment plants in both Water and Sewer spaces, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
* Hazard Identification and Incident Reporting: Identify potential hazards and incidents, reporting them promptly to management for resolution.
* Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and toolbox discussions, contributing to shared knowledge and best practices.
