We are now seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Benalla, Victoria. This permanent position offers the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of electrical design projects supporting highly customised Customer requirements. Responsibilities
* Collaborate with a variety of passionate stakeholders to support the ongoing execution of varied electrical/technical projects
* Utilise your proven electrical background to carry out design activities, variations, design changes and other special projects when required
* Manage project documentation, reporting and adhering to internal processes and other compliance requirements through a high attention to detail
* Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and Customer specifications
* Support various Tender requirements, quoting, review activities and other related tasks as you provide specialist technical input to support project execution and product development
* Collaborate with the wider Benalla team as you contribute to the growth of our operations in accordance with our strategy and ambitions
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
* Previous design experience and proven knowledge of electrical design principles
* Intermediate IT skills and a proven ability to utilise systems and interpret data
* Project management competencies and a proven ability to manage competing priorities
* A true collaborator who has achieved technical outcomes while teaming with varied stakeholders
* Experience in the design of similar specialist electrical products will be viewed favourably, as will those with previous experience in the use of SAP
