We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Receptionist and Administration Assistant to work within our Administration team.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist and Administration Assistant who will act as first point of contact for Westco Motors Cairns and are responsible for providing a professional, efficient and effective service to meet the needs of customers. The receptionist will offer administrative support across the organisation as well as coordinating front desk activities ensuring sensitive issues are delt with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

* Welcome and assist visitors as soon as they arrive at the office with a positive and helpful attitude

* Handle incoming calls promptly and in a professional manner, routing calls as necessary and taking messages as required

* Respond to client inquiries or requests promptly and courteously

* Manage office supplies inventory and restocking

* Arrange travel and accommodation

* Daily banking

* Petty cash management

* Provide administrative support such as filing, data entry and document management

* Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings

* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations

* Maintain a clean and organised reception and all common areas

Requirements:

* Proven work experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant (desirable)

* Customer service skills desirable

* Excellent phone and face to face communication skills

* Competent computer skills with basic competency with Microsoft office suite products

* Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. telephone, fax machines and printers)

* Ability to multi-task and be well organised

* Be a team player, enthusiastic and reliable
