About The Role
This is a versatile position, utilising your specialised fitting skill set with pipework, pumps, pulleys, gearboxes, and drive assemblies. It is essential the successful applicant prioritises safety and maintains a clear understanding of safe systems of work and associated safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
* Work cohesively within a highly skilled team of Mechanical professionals in remote locations.
* Maintain and replace mechanical fixed plant components.
* Install new mechanical plant on major projects.
* Ability to motivate teams and achieve business targets.
* Adhere to strict Health, Safety and Environmental conditions.
About You
* Valid manual Drivers Licence - HR Advantageous
* Trade Certificate - Australian Recognised.
* Construction White Card.
* Minimum 2+ Years experience in SMP or Fixed Plant Maintenance.
* Pump and Alignment experience.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings effectively.
* Strong communication, safety, and leadership skills.
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and D&A screen.
* RTIO, BHP, FMG, PLS Site Inducted is advantageous.
