As our **Head of Marketing**, you will drive integrated campaigns, digital innovation, fan engagement, and commercial success across a nationally recognised venue. **About the Role**:
As Head of Marketing, you will oversee the strategic direction and day-to-day execution of all marketing activity across the venue’s business units. Your focus will span brand development, event and experience promotion, digital strategy, fan engagement, community outreach, and sponsorship activation. You will lead a high-performing team and collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners to drive visitation, revenue, and brand loyalty.

This role is both strategic and operational, requiring strong leadership, a deep understanding of marketing performance metrics, and the ability to deliver creative, data-informed campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences—from motorsport fans and corporate clients to tourists and local communities.

- Mallala Motorsport Park_
Mallala Motorsport Park, founded in 1961 to host the Australian Grand Prix, is South Australia's motorsport heritage icon. Known for hosting events such as the Australian Touring Car Championship and the All Historic Mallala race meeting, the 2.6km circuit continues to thrive with driver training, practice sessions, and drifting. In 2022, the park added go-karting to its offerings, enriching its legacy of innovation and excitement. Together with Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, Mallala is part of a family dedicated to preserving motorsport history while delivering thrilling, modern experiences.

**What will you be responsible for?**
- Developing and implementing annual marketing strategies across accommodation, events, F&B;, conferencing, motorsport, and experiences
- Leading integrated campaigns across digital, traditional, and social channels to grow brand reach and customer acquisition
- Driving attendance and ticket sales for major events in collaboration with the Major Events & Experiences Marketing Manager
- Managing content, creative development, and brand consistency across all touchpoints
- Overseeing CRM programs, fan loyalty initiatives, and data-driven customer journeys
- Ensuring optimal performance of marketing operations, campaign ROI, and reporting on key marketing KPIs
- Leading, mentoring, and empowering a multidisciplinary team including in-house and freelance talent
- Coordinating with internal departments to align marketing objectives with broader business goals
- Supporting sponsorship activation and delivering value for commercial partners

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably in events, tourism, sport, or entertainment
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and guide a dynamic team
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing, CRM, social media, and data analytics tools
- Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies across multiple revenue streams
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver campaigns with measurable commercial outcomes
- A creative mindset paired with an analytical, data-driven approach
- Passion for motorsports or live entertainment is highly desirable
- Current Drivers License
- Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
