Hays have multiple manufacturing clients with needs for casual factory workers for short and long-term work
Your new role
In these factory roles you may be required to:
* Work on an assembly line using basic machinery or tools
* Work at the end of the line, packaging products and packing them for dispatch
* Manual handling of items and repetitive work
* Assist with unloading containers and putting stock away
* Keeping the warehouse/factory area clean and tidy
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application you will need:
* Recent demonstrated experience in a similar role
* The ability to meet the physical requirements of the role by doing manual handling tasks and standing for long hours
* The ability to provide a reference from your most recent role from a supervisor
* Reliable transport to get to and from work
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid $34 an hour for all hours that you work, overtime penalities are paid when applicable. Some clients will also extend your casual contract or even offer full-time ongoing work if they have it available and if you fit in well within their team.
