We specialise in turning bold ideas into engineered products—fast—using 3D scanning, CNC machining, 3D printing, precision composites and tooling. The Role: What You’ll Do
- As a Composites Tooling Technician, you’ll be central to making our bold, innovative projects possible. You’ll:
- Fabricate, maintain and repair tooling, moulds, jigs, fixtures, and patterns
- Work hands-on with composite materials (fibreglass, carbon fibre, resins) to build, finish, and release parts
- Assist in the prototyping process: help us go from concept to first article
- Operate in a workshop environment: sanding, trimming, finishing, surface preparation
- Troubleshoot tooling problems, perform modifications, refinements, reworks
- Collaborate with designers & engineers to ensure moulds/tooling produce high quality parts
- Maintain quality control, tolerances, surface finish requirements
- Keep your workspace safe, clean, and efficient
We’d Love To Hear From You If
- You’ve got trade / technical experience (ideally with composites, fibreglass, tooling, or mould making)
- You have good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and pride your work
- You can read technical drawings / CAD outputs, and interpret tolerances
- You are comfortable working in a hands-on workshop environment
- You have a problem-solving mindset and enjoy iterative refinement
- You value quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- You’re a team player and willing to communicate / collaborate across disciplines
Bonus Points If
- You’ve worked with carbon fibre or advanced composites before
- You have experience in aerospace, marine, or high-end manufacturing
- You’ve had exposure to prototyping, R&D; or custom one-off builds
