Your new role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Paediatric team at Logan Hospital. In this role, you will:
Deliver high-quality paediatric Occupational Therapy services, including assessment, intervention, education and discharge planning within an interprofessional context.
Contribute to clinical education by supervising observational students, allied health assistants and supporting undergraduate students.
Participate in quality improvement and research activities under the guidance of senior staff.
Work across a variety of clinical areas including emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and special care nursery settings, including weekend rostered shifts.
About you:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable professional who is committed to patient-centred care. Ideally, you will demonstrate:
Proven ability to provide safe, effective and evidence-based Occupational Therapy services for paediatric patients.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within interprofessional teams and engage with patients, families, and carers.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and active participation in service improvement initiatives.
The ability to contribute to the clinical education and supervision of students and less experienced staff with the support of senior clinicians.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
