Account Manager - Print, Retail & Brand Activations
Full-time | Hybrid - Melbourne
At Dashing, we bring some of the world's most loved brands to life through print, production, technology and retail activations. We are fast moving and quality driven, and we are looking for an Account Manager to join our growing Melbourne team.
As an Account Manager, you'll be the trusted partner for your clients and the central hub across every project. You'll manage campaigns end to end, build strong relationships and support the long term growth of each account. You'll work closely with Creative, Production, Install and Client Service teams to bring ideas to life across print, POS and retail activations. You thrive in a fast moving environment, keep clients informed and excited, and ensure every job is delivered on point. You make things happen and clients love working with you.
Key responsibilities
Client service, growth and retention
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Act as the primary day to day contact across all projects
* Maintain regular face to face contact to stay close to campaign needs
* Keep clients informed, confident and supported through clear communication
* Deliver on agreed budgets month to month and year on year
* Manage briefs, queries, approvals updates with confidence
* Lead or support weekly WIPs and provide clear follow ups
* Develop strong relationships with brand, retail and marketing stakeholders
* Ensure every interaction is proactive, positive and solutions focused
* Identify risks early and elevate through the GAD or CCO when needed
* Understand each client's brand and commercial objectives
* Provide confident guidance and recommendations across the project lifecycle
* Support long term retention through trusted client partnerships
Campaign management and project execution
* Lead campaign coordination and ensure all elements are aligned and approved
* Support activations across retail, experiential, print and POS
* Ensure budgets, timelines and expectations are met
* Coordinate internal and external teams to keep campaigns moving
* Ensure every deliverable is accurate, on brand and delivered to a premium standard
* Use Dashing tools such as the Client Portal, Zendesk, Monday and PrintIQ to manage work
* Prepare install guides, run sheets and distribution lists
* Support print and POS production including estimates, artwork handling and approvals
Team collaboration and culture
* Collaborate with Creative, Production, Install and Client Service teams
* Build strong partnerships with suppliers and subcontractors
* Contribute to a team first, collaborative culture
* Work independently across all accounts with confidence
* Mentor Account Coordinators + Account Executives through guidance and support
* Champion a solutions mindset and positive energy
* Be a Dashing ambassador and set the standard for excellence
* Kaizen mindset and look for ways to continuously improve the way we do things
About you
Experience and expertise
* 5+ years in account management or client service
* Experience in retail activations, print, POS, VM or campaign delivery
* Technical print knowledge including estimating and supplier coordination
* Understanding of fabrication methods across timber, metal and acrylic
* Confidence presenting work and managing multiple clients
* Strong understanding of production workflows and install processes
* Experience in creative, experiential or retail environments
* Commercially aware with experience hitting revenue or growth targets
