 
        
        As a HATS (Helicopter Air Training Systems) Aerospace Worker you will be responsible for but not limited to basic Aircraft Life Support Equipment (ALSE) servicing and maintenance requirements including operational servicing, configuration changes, assisting with equipment fittings, and planned maintenance on various pieces of ALS equipment, all whilst under the supervision of trade qualified staff. 
ALSE Maintenance Staff perform a significant role in preserving aircrew and passenger safety by maintaining and certifying for maintenance, inspection, fitment and acceptance of individually issued ALSE equipment. 
This role involves the following key responsibilities: 
Provide assistance to and take directions from BDA Technicians and staff in the execution of team goals. 
Ensuring all maintenance tasks carried out are IAW the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in the maintenance documentation. 
BDA requires all applicants to be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria: 
Be willing and able to undertake required training to obtain Certificate 3 or 4 in Aerospace Life Support Equipment. 
Be able to demonstrate an understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) procedures. 
Hold or be able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance of BASELINE 
Meet the security requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITARS) 
Hold a C class driver's license
