The role of Commercial Finance Manager involves playing a critical part in delivering financial insights and strategic analysis to support data-driven decision-making that drives revenue growth and profitability.
This position requires a trusted advisor who combines financial expertise with commercial acumen to influence key business outcomes. Key Responsibilities
* Own and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting with a focus on sales, cost of sales, and raw material margins.
* Analyse and explain variances between actuals, forecasts, and budgets, translating financial data into actionable insights.
* Partner with leadership to drive margin improvement initiatives and monitor ROI on key commercial and operational projects.
* Provide financial decision support to Sales, Operations, and Planning teams on pricing, product mix, customer profitability, and cost efficiency.
* Support strategic planning and business reviews, including value-added growth initiatives and operational efficiency programs.
* Influence commercial strategy through robust analysis, scenario modelling, and business case development.

Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field are essential. An MBA or CPA/CA is highly desirable.
At least 5 years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering roles is required. Experience in production and manufacturing environments is advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary, as well as advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) is also beneficial.
A strong collaboration mindset and ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are crucial. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders is essential.
