Dental Assistant & Receptionist - Phillip and Dickson ACT
Dickson Park Dental Surgery (Dickson) and Dental Excellence (Phillip) are seeking a motivated, customer-focused individual to serve as both dental assistant and receptionist. Our team is dedicated to providing a comfortable, relaxing environment for patients while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities of Dental Assistant
Assist the dentist during patient procedures
Take X-rays and impressions
Sterilize and prepare dental instruments
Make patients feel comfortable and assist with their needs
Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist
Completion of a dental assisting program or relevant education is highly regarded (not required)
Familiarity with dental equipment and software
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A friendly and professional demeanor
Responsibilities of Receptionist
Answer and direct phone calls
Schedule appointments and maintain patient schedules
Greet patients and handle check-ins and check-outs
Process payments and handle billing inquiries
Maintain a clean, organized reception area
Perform other administrative duties as directed by management
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Availability: Monday–Thursday 8:30 am–5:30 pm, Friday 7:30 am–3:30 pm, Saturday 8:30 am–5:30 pm
