Our Boys' Secondary School is currently looking for an exceptional Secondary English Teacher preferably with Learning Enhancement experience.
This is a permanent, part-time position offering a .6 load across 4 days commencing January 2026.

Responsibilities and Requirements
* Planning and implementation of a curriculum of teaching programs or courses of study using a range of teaching techniques and materials
* Planning, implementing and marking a variety of assessment tasks to monitor students' progress
* Implementation of strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes
* Maintenance of records of class attendance and recording of student progress
* Liaison with students and parents
* Implementation of effective student management strategies consistent with the school's behaviour management plan
* Attendance at regular staff and curriculum planning meetings
* Provide supervision of students during recess, as timetabled
* Provide a safe and nurturing environment and develop positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider school community
* Differentiate teaching and assessment to support a wide range of learners, including those with specific learning needs, high‑ability students, and students requiring short‑term intervention
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Education (Bachelor degree or higher)
* Current VIT registration
* Comfort and experience in teaching Secondary level English
* High level of attention to detail and empathy, with the ability to adapt to students' needs
* A sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children
