Community Transport Supervisor Job Description
The Community Transport team plays a crucial role in delivering council transport services, ensuring the safety and compliance of our teams with industry standards.
We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the delivery of transport services, supervising bus drivers and ensuring that aged care quality and Work Health and Safety Standards are met.
* Supervise and lead the Transport administration team and bus drivers.
* Ensure that our services meet Aged Care Quality Standards and Transport for NSW funding Contract requirements.
* Manage the bus fleet scheduling and routine maintenance services.
* Develop operational plans for compliance with Transport for NSW Contract and Aged Care quality Standards.
* Coordinate programs' intake, assessment, referral processes, and systems.
* Maintain client care plans, risk management, and funding obligations.
* Foster a positive team culture and maintain team engagement.
* Attend biannual governance meetings with Transport for NSW to discuss performance.
About You:
* You will have a Diploma in a relevant field or demonstrated experience in Aged Care Services or a related field.
* You will possess strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders, including government departments, community groups, and organisations.
* You will have at least 5 years of leadership experience inspiring and supervising teams.
* You will be able to effectively plan and manage multiple tasks and projects according to timelines, agreed outcomes, within budget and time constraints.
* You will hold a valid Driver's Licence (Class C) - NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
* Transport Service Delivery: Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of transport services to meet customer needs.
* Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the Transport administration team and bus drivers to achieve high-quality service delivery.
* Compliance: Ensure that all services meet Aged Care Quality Standards and Transport for NSW funding Contract requirements.
* Bus Fleet Management: Manage the bus fleet scheduling and routine maintenance services to ensure optimal vehicle use and minimal downtime.
* Operational Planning: Develop operational plans for compliance with Transport for NSW Contract and Aged Care quality Standards.
