About the Role
We're looking for a hands on Restaurant Coordinator to lead the day to day operations of the Summerland Farm restaurant.
This is a key leadership role responsible for running a busy venue coordinating front of house and kitchen teams, delivering a strong customer experience, and driving commercial performance.
You'll be part of a unique environment that combines hospitality, tourism, events, and farming with real opportunity to grow the restaurant as a destination dining experience.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading daily restaurant operations across front of house and kitchen
* Coordinating service to ensure a high quality customer experience
* Managing rosters, labour KPIs, and workflow to meet demand
* Working with the Head Chef on menus, stock, and cost control
* Supporting functions, weddings, and tourism trade
* Monitoring performance including revenue, labour, and costs
* Engaging with customers and building repeat business
* Coaching and developing team members
* Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
* Identifying opportunities to improve service, efficiency, and revenue
About You
* Experience in a restaurant, cafe, or hospitality leadership role
* Strong understanding of service, kitchen coordination, and operations
* Confident managing a team in high volume service environments
* Good commercial awareness you understand labour, cost, and performance
* Strong communication and customer engagement skills
* Practical, hands on leader who leads from the floor
* Experience with functions or events (desirable)
