An award-winning design practice is looking for a Senior Architect ready to step into a pivotal position. This role is ideal for a registered architect with strong experience in project delivery, team leadership, and client management with a focus on education projects.
As a senior team member, you’ll lead innovative architectural projects across multiple sectors, mentor a high-performing design team, and drive excellence across concept design, documentation, and construction phases. Responsibilities
- Lead the design, documentation, and delivery of a wide range of architectural projects.
- Direct juniors in an exceptional team through a diverse range of projects.
- Manage client relationships and guide project direction from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with consultants and internal teams to ensure design integrity and strategic outcomes.
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and team resources.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with Australian standards and BCA.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making and design innovation within the practice.

About You
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in an architectural practice.
- Registered Architect with demonstrated project leadership experience.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Suite.
- Strong understanding of Australian building codes, standards, and contract administration.
- Exceptional design, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and high-value projects.
- A confident communicator and natural mentor with a passion for design excellence.
