About the Company & Role:
Our client is a market leader in the manufacturing and industrial sector, experiencing strong growth and expansion. With operations scaling nationally, they are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team.
This is a hands-on, senior role where you'll own financial reporting, partner with operations, and drive system and process improvements. It's an opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong costing expertise, and enjoys influencing decisions across both finance and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver accurate month-end results including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal postings, while ensuring integrity across financial statements
* Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with insightful commentary for senior leadership and operational teams
* Provide detailed analysis on cost drivers, inventory management, and sales margin performance, translating insights into clear business decisions
* Partner with non-finance stakeholders to improve understanding of financial performance, reporting, and cost control
* Support external audits, tax compliance, and internal policy development to strengthen governance frameworks
* Lead process improvement and automation initiatives, including ERP enhancements, data integration, and Power BI reporting solutions
* Mentor junior team members and champion system automation to reduce manual work and deliver more strategic value
Skills and Experience:
* Degree in Accounting or Finance; CA/CPA qualified
* 5+ years' experience in senior management accounting roles, ideally across manufacturing or industrial distribution
* Strong technical background in cost management, inventory, and operational finance
* Advanced Excel skills (mandatory), with strong knowledge of ERP systems (D365 highly regarded) and exposure to data visualisation tools such as Power BI
