The Opportunity They are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support the day-to-day finance operations of its Australian business. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Review coding on requisitions and ensure accuracy of GL account and cost centre allocation Prepare journals for accruals, reclassifications, cost allocations, and amortisations Complete general ledger, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations Assist with BAS, FBT, TPAR, WorkCover, and ATO Payment Times reporting Support preparation of income tax schedules, annual financial statements, and audit requirements Manage corporate credit cards, including new requests and limit changes Provide ad hoc support to finance team and managers as required About You Bachelor of Business/Commerce (Accounting) and working towards CA/CPA qualification 4 years' accounting experience, ideally within a complex or software/consulting environment Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivots, linked sheets) Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritise, and meet deadlines Excellent communication and teamwork skills Why Join?
