Offer description

Why Smart?

Look forward to working with Australia's leading and most trusted provider of Employee Management Services, making the benefits of salary packaging, novated leasing, and fleet management readily available to employers and their employees.

Working at Smart offers more than a job. It is a dynamic workplace that matches the enthusiasm for the work you do and ambition for an exciting fast-paced career. We have all been hired for a purpose and a reason.

Every day you will be part of a team that helps support fellow Australians - many working in essential services, corporates, government, and not-for-profits - to take home more money in their pay packets.

Do you like to work on exciting change programs?

We're looking for an experienced Change Manager to lead the people side delivery of our Payroll Integration Project. In this 6month contract, you'll prepare teams for change, simplify complex impacts, and ensure the transition lands smoothly across the business.

What you'll be responsible for

* Developing and delivering the change strategy, including communications, training, coaching and stakeholder engagement.

* Running change impact assessments and readiness activities, ensuring business areas understand what's changing and when.

* Identifying people related risks, designing mitigation actions and managing resistance.

* Partnering with project teams to embed change deliverables into project timelines and BAU transition plans.

* Measuring adoption, utilisation, and overall effectiveness of change activities.

* Supporting leaders and managers to champion the changes across their teams.

* Maintaining clear documentation, reporting progress, and presenting updates to senior stakeholders.

What you'll bring

* Proven experience in organisational change management, ideally within large system, payroll or HRIS implementations.

* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complexity.

* Experience designing and delivering structured change plans and methodologies.

* Ability to interpret data, assess change impacts, and communicate them simply and clearly.

* Excellent written communication skills and confidence presenting to senior leaders.

* Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment.

What's in it for you?

Smart team members enjoy a range of benefits designed to support flexibility, wellbeing, reward, and growth:

* Free lunch every week
* Discounted retail vouchers
* Salary packaging and novated leasing benefits (of course)
* Free flu vaccinations

Grow with Purpose

At Smart, we're driven by purpose and performance. We support individual and team growth via varied learning opportunities, open communication, and leaders who work to get the basics right – quality and regular one to ones, clear goals and success metrics, and growth conversations.
