About the Role

As the Senior Product Marketing Analyst – Ranger Super Duty & Everest role is responsible for coordinating the execution of product strategy across the entire product lifecycle for in-market and future products.

Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager – Ranger Super Duty & Everest, this role is focused on delivering a comprehensive and customer-focused product portfolio that reflects the wants of the Australian customer and market.

This role will be based at our Richmond National Sales Company office on a hybrid schedule (four days in-office).

- Hold a tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience.

- Exceptional ability to communicate complex information succinctly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences.

- Demonstrated strong stakeholder management skills, with the proven ability to navigate and manage multiple, often conflicting, priorities effectively.

- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

- Experience with data visualization tools such as
PowerBI
is beneficial, along with familiarity with automotive databases like JATO,
Marketsight
, or similar.

- Strong capabilities in data analytics, encompassing development, interpretation, and compelling presentation of insights.

- Possess a high degree of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all work.

- Extensive product knowledge and/or program management experience is highly preferred.

- Product Strategy & Business Case Development: Support the ideation and development of product strategy, including crafting compelling business cases for current and future Ford product initiatives.

- Pricing & Content Leadership: Drive pricing and content proposals for product launches and future program milestones, preparing and presenting these to local leadership, and ensuring all program revenue timing commitments are met.

- Market Analysis & Expertise: Become the go-to product expert for both Ford and competitor products, continually researching and analysing market trends, customer preferences, and competitor actions to inform strategic decisions.

- Launch & Lifecycle Management: Lead the product perspective for new product launches and model year updates, including conducting internal product immersion presentations and ensuring the accuracy and legal compliance of all public-facing materials.

- Product Communications & Content Creation: Lead the development of critical product and pricing-related content for internal stakeholders (e.g., Marketing Communications, Public Affairs) for use in media launches, motor shows, brochures, and dealer launches.

- Volume Planning & Forecasting: Support the Forward Planning Volumes (FPV) process by providing detailed analysis on Everest, Ranger Super Duty, and competitor product actions for future years.

- Cross-Functional Product Leadership: Act as the central product lead within internal stakeholder forums, ensuring all parties possess the necessary product and program timing details for successful launches and activities.

- Independent Initiative Execution: Independently lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives designed to support and enhance the success of the product portfolio.

- Product Documentation & Governance: Maintain Product Direction Letters and meticulously review all proposed changes to ensure strategic alignment and accuracy.
