The Role
Team Leader – Design & Drafting, Rail & Metro with proven experience managing teams and delivering on rail transport infrastructure projects. The role is based in the Brisbane office and requires a minimum of 12+ years' experience in design or drafting. The successful candidate will support and help manage team capability in the region and source business opportunities to support the ongoing activities of a leading multi‐disciplinary engineering consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical and leadership guidance across the team's portfolio.
* Provide input to projects at a project management and/or review level to achieve reliable performance in terms of timeliness and quality.
* Effectively manage and lead the team to ensure optimal performance, resourcing, retention, and professional development.
* Provide input to the group business plan and implement the team's components of the plan.
About You
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or an Advanced Diploma.
* Minimum 12+ years' industry experience.
* Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to train junior employees.
* Sound aptitude to prepare technical reports and proposals for a range of projects.
* A track record of achievement in a similar role and a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
