About the role

Reporting to the Head of Business and Vendor Management, your primary objective will be to identify, manage, and deliver initiatives that support the growth of a service-related portfolio. You will ensure that franchisees receive high-quality, timely, and effective services from our service providers. This role requires frequent domestic travel monthly.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Associate eager to advance their career in the dynamic field of Business Development.

You will;

- Monitor and manage vendor performance against agreed service levels for franchisees and develop and implement continuous improvement plans with vendors for services.
- Represent Harvey Norman in all vendor management reviews and discussions and assist with the development of training materials by vendors for franchisee audiences.
- Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting commitments for all stakeholders, and handle ad hoc reporting as needed.
- Support franchisees by leading discussions and initiatives to drive sales growth, developing best practices for point of sale, and providing assistance with customer complaints.
- Identify and implement changes necessary to foster a culture of compliance among both suppliers and franchisees.
- Identify, review, and mitigate any compliance related risks or issues to the satisfaction of the management team.

About you

You will have experience in a customer-facing sales role with a solid understanding of retail processes and practices. Your strong relationship building skills will complement your expertise in product sales and advising on best-selling practices. Additionally, you possess the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.

You will also have;

- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to effectively manage time while handling multiple concurrent tasks.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and adeptness at collaborating in team environments.
- Ability to work to committed timeframes, and under time pressures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and influencing skills.
- Ability to analyse and interpret large amounts of data for various levels of stakeholders.
