The Opportunity
We're looking for someonehands-on, mechanically savvy, and self-motivated to join our team as aStump Grinding Operator .
You don't need previous stump grinding experience – we'll provide full training. What matters most is your ability to:
* Work confidently with machinery and tools.
* Solve problems and take initiative when working independently.
* Be safety-conscious and reliable.
* Trusted to provide a professional and efficient service without onsite supervision.
What You'll Be Doing
* Operating specialised stump grinding machinery.
* Working on job sites across Adelaide and surrounding areas.
* Representing Austral Tree Services with professionalism and care.
* Working around underground services
* Organised, careful and methodical to complete daily work.
* Complying with all company processes, SOPS and safety standards
* Respecting, maintaining and caring for you company fleet and equipment
* Demonstrating a keen ability to learn and apply new skills to your job
What We're Looking For
* A mechanical mindset – maybe you've worked with engines, tools, farm machinery, or construction gear.
* The ability to work unsupervised and get the job done.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Hold a valid Driver's licenceand MR Licence (essential)
