This is an events role with a difference.
We’re looking for a Community Engagement & Event Planner to plan and coordinate an exciting range of events for Embrace People & Place and the Ian & Shirley Norman Foundation. These events will have a community engagement and social justice focus and may include festivals, workshops, fundraisers, charity events, and social gatherings.
This newly created role is initially for 12 months with the possibility of extension.

What You’ll Do
Play a pivotal role in organising, executing, and promoting events and community engagement programs that align with our values and pillars.
Develop detailed and accurate event plans, work schedules and run sheets.
Prepare detailed budgets and track expenditures to ensure events run smoothly and to budget.
Work with the Marketing & Communication Manager to promote events.
You will need
High-level problem-solving skills.
An influential style so that you can own your role.
To be a relationship builder; bringing people together and working collaboratively.
Qualifications in event planning, community development/engagement or communication.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in event planning, community engagement, or a related field.
