Job Description
The role of Senior Audit Manager, Financial Crime requires a senior professional to contribute to the development and execution of the Financial Crime and Fraud audit program. This involves managing and leading large and diverse teams, engaging with senior stakeholders in Financial Crime and Fraud function and in the Business.
Key responsibilities include providing objective assurance on risk management to key customers (e.g., Group Executives and their leadership teams), identifying issues together with risk and commercial insights as part of high-quality audit reports. The role also involves actively managing Audit Reviews against agreed audit plans and forecasts, assisting and guiding team members on subject matter and audit process for Financial Crime, Fraud, Privacy, Conduct, Legal and Regulatory Risk areas, and preparing internal materials for engagement, education, and upskilling of the GA&A function.
In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders to identify and address risks, implement control measures, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, risk managers, and other auditors. Your expertise and knowledge in Financial Crime and Fraud will be essential in driving business outcomes and delivering value to the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Extensive experience in Compliance and/or AML Compliance and/or audit, and risk management role preferably in a testing function with a large financial institution or professional services firm.
* Strong knowledge of FCC risks across AML/ CTF, Economic & Trade Sanctions and AB&C laws, regulations and directives, and sound understanding of ML/ TF typologies.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to summarize findings and present in a clear, concise manner to peers, managers, and the senior leadership team.
