About the Role
Based at our Luscombe Head Office in Queensland, this role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of branch accounting and administrative functions across multiple sites.
You'll play a key part in ensuring standardised, efficient, and accurate financial processes, supporting performance analysis and reporting, and general ledger reconciliations.
Working closely with the Accounting Manager – Operations, you'll help maintain strong financial governance and contribute to the success of the broader Finance team.
A key part of the role is working with the Branch Business partners to ensure the accuracy of reporting and adherence to financial process.
What You'll Do
Coordinate branch accounting, reporting, and administrative processes including project files, invoicing, and operational analysis.
Support month-end, forecasting, and earnings analysis across business units.
Investigate and resolve accounting anomalies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Contribute to internal control documentation, compliance testing, and audit preparation.
Monitor accounting systems, recommend improvements, and support standardisation initiatives.
Prepare statistical and management reports for senior leaders in Australia and Canada.
Review and document accounting processes for ongoing improvement.
Provide backup and support to the Financial Accountant as required.
Prepare monthly journal entries.
What You Will Bring
Proven experience in a similar management accounting role within a complex, multi-site business.
Strong understanding of internal controls, financial processes, and reporting systems.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
A proactive approach to identifying efficiencies and process improvements.
