Job Summary
The role of a Senior Contact Centre Operator is pivotal in delivering exceptional support services to the Townsville region. This position demands a high level of professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
Main Responsibilities:
* Customer Support: The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, assessing, and promptly addressing customer inquiries with compassion and efficiency.
* Team Leadership: As a team leader, you will be required to organize workloads, rosters, and handle queries from the public and Conference members.
* Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with local Conference members is crucial, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and requirements.
* Record Keeping and Administrative Tasks: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records for Helpline activities, assisting with volunteer training, and performing administrative duties in accordance with Society policies and procedures.
About You:
* A relevant Tertiary or Tafe Qualification or equivalent industry experience is essential for this role.
* Demonstrated ability to train and organize staff and volunteers is highly desirable.
* Capacity to assess client needs in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner is vital.
* Previous experience in handling high volumes of calls and maintaining professional phone etiquette at all times is necessary.
