What's the role?
As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be at the heart of our branch network, welcoming our customers to BankSA and engaging in meaningful conversations to uncover their needs and provide them with tailored banking solutions. You will utilise your product knowledge to assist customers in achieving their financial goals – both in-person and over the phone – and referring them on to our specialised Banking teams when necessary. This is a rewarding role which will see your dedication and expertise empower customers to make the most of their money, each and every day!
This is a part-time, branch-based role and the hours are 9am – 4.15pm Monday to Friday.This role may require you to cover planned and unplanned leave across other Westpac Group branches in the area, so the ability to travel and the flexibility to do so is essential.
What do I need?
* Customer service and sales experience,ideally in a customer-facing / phone-based role withexperience of working to targets
* Resilience, with an ability to remain calm and composed whilst managing challenging situations
* Comfortable in working towards sales / referral targets and calling customers over the phone
* Numericalcapability, ideally with proficiency in cash handling and counting, with ability to complete financial transactions with accuracy
* An energetic personality coupled with a genuine passion for helping people!
* The will to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies
No banking experience? No problem. Your vibrant personality, eagerness to learn and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer service are key to excel in this role.
