We are seeking an experienced Acoustics Specialist to join our team in either Melbourne or Brisbane. This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled individual to contribute their expertise in acoustic engineering and provide exceptional support to clients, architects, and engineers.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical input on environmental and built environment engineering projects, including preparing fee proposals, managing noise monitoring programs, and interpreting data.
* Providing expert advice on acoustics, noise, and vibration issues;
* Supporting project delivery through attendance at design meetings and clear communication with stakeholders;
* Liaising with clients and other professionals to ensure high-quality solutions;
This role requires a strong understanding of environmental and building acoustics, as well as excellent communication and management skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing fee proposals and tenders for acoustics, noise, and vibration assessments;
* Managing noise monitoring and testing programs, including data acquisition and analysis;
* Collaborating with clients and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions;
* Developing and implementing noise reduction strategies;
* Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members;
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Acoustic Engineering or a related field, with significant experience in consultancy environments. They will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality results.
