The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in the Illawarra.
From sport to art, pets to gardening, walking to yoga, baking to craft, movies to music, coffee to crosswords... whateveryou love, you can share it with someone who loves it too.
As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living in your community.
Our elderly client would like to meet a caring individual to visit them at home in the beautiful South Coast suburb of Keiraville. Our client enjoys everything Great Britain, fishing, reading, music, puzzles, gardening, sport and Country and Western films. Our client would like to meet someone to chat over a cuppa and share their interests with each week.
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.

Requirements
18 years or older
National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
